My first ever rock festival was Uproar. Cool bands played. Most notable were Escape the Fate, Bullet For My Valentine, Seether, Three Days Grace, and Sevendust. The headliner, which was supposed to be Avenged Sevenfold, had to cancel because the leas singer got sick. :/. One of the main reasons I went was them, but they’re supposed to be back in December, so B x and I will hopefully get to see them then.

I learned a couple things, though.

-never stand too close to an open stage because a mosh pit will open up and you will get pushed back.
-when you’re near said mosh pit, it makes it hard to enjoy the music when you’re focused on the direction of where the mosh pit is going.
-never wear new shoes to a rock festival, especially when they’re white.
-some rockstars are pigs.

I had lots of fun and hopefully there will be another festival like that worth going to. :3
